Over the last few weeks, I have regularly gone to Einstein Bagels to get free stuff through their current sweepstakes. The nice thing here is that you ALWAYS win something.
All told, I'd estimate my current Victory amount won here at about $10.

Victory!
My first major victory as a Sweepstakes Winner was nothing special, but it was still a victory. Many more are coming, I am sure!

5 NEW Blogs: 11/29/2010
These are the top five new blog giveaways for November 29th, 2010.
First off, let's start with a disclaimer: these are my opinion as to which giveaways are the best. As a result, anything remotely Twilight oriented (or anything else I deem irredeemably lame) just isn't going to make the cut. In addition, with literally hundreds of giveaways to choose from, there simply isn't any way I could possibly show off everything. With that in mind, ease of entry will be taken into consideration If the prize is wicked awesome but it takes posting on facebook, tweeting, running through a burning building AND doing the hula hoop on video to the macarena, chances are good it isn't going to make the cut. I'm not a patient guy, in general, and so my list will reflect that. Thus, I present yesterdays top five new blog giveaways:
5. I think picking which one to start off with may actually have been the hardest part. Coming in at number 5, Love Lettered (Warning, this site is Adults Only). This giveaway is for Babeland Body Chocolate, combining a couple of my favorite things, Chocolate and... let's just say I really want to win this one. Entry is easy, and since this is her first giveaway ever, she is offering some pretty major perks for following via Google Friend Connect, which is nice.
4. This may seem odd as #4, as the prize itself is pretty spectacular. 3 Kids and Us is giving away a Kitchenaid mixer. In order to get the extra entries for blogging it, you have to quote specific text, which I refuse to (and they should be ashamed of asking). In addition, the number of entries is massive (over 1000), which is two strikes. If there was a third, they wouldn't be on the list at all. Still, the giveway is pretty awesome, so they are getting mentioned.
3. Super Mommy to the Rescue is giving away a copy of Lego Universe, an online MMOG for kids, which is pretty much a lego fantasy world turned into a video game. I so totally want to play this game, and if this had come out when I was 11 I would have been in heaven. Alas, youth is wasted on the young. Hopefully this giveaway won't be, though!
2. I'm Not Your Everday Average Mom is giving away something I want, but not for me. I used to work at the mall, and this kiosk was right next to mine. They sell these amazing Miche purses, which have a base and then an interchangeable exterior. These are awesome, because you can have a bunch of different purses without having to constantly swap your stuff from one to the other. Needless to say, my wife wants it. Maybe with this giveaway, the opportunity is finally here!

A new blog
I decided a few days ago to create a new blog. I've started doing a lot of sweepstakes and giveaway things, and I want to do 2 things: First, I want to track what I've won (probably both as posts and as a running dollar amount). This lets me give a shout-out to all the people I've won things from, plus it shows my bragging rights. Second, I want to post lists of my favorite places to get free stuff, my favorite blog giveaways, and so forth.
Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll even manage to snag a few giveaways of my own to do!
